GRAVITAS - Noun: high seriousness (as in a person's bearing or in the treatment of a subject) Gravitas is from the Latin gravitas, "heaviness, seriousness," from gravis, "heavy, serious."
Gravitas Training (GT) delivers a range of dynamic and innovative vocational social housing management courses for Registered Social Landlords (RSL) and the wider public. Our courses have helped develop a better understanding and appreciation of the housing management role, its various functions, and good working practice.
GT is also firmly involved in addressing unemployemnt, under-employment, and worklessness through our higly effective and sucessful employability and job ready programme, which focuses on: overcoming and effectively addressing the competency framework and person specification for permanent £18-50K professional jobs; comprehensively reviewing CV's for temporary roles; and providing well rounded interview and assessment stage preparation.
Our practical, pragmatic, and meaningful approach in increasing employability skills and knowledge has helped secure over £3 million pounds worth of jobs and attract public funding from New Deal for Communities (NDC) and the European Social Fund (ESF).
GT aims to continuously build and develop on its successful course structure and to strengthen partnership work with our employability partners including RSL's, Local Authorities, and Statutory Employment and Training Providers, where permanent and sustainable job outcomes have helped create an increasing recognition and gravitas for the work that we do.
